      This shows the importance of the part of the job interview where the interviewee asks the interviewer questions. To get the job, you not only need to answer the questions, but ask good questions as well.

    "It's totally cool to say that you want to have your advertising appear in certain places in Twitter and not in other places. But it is not cool to try to say what Twitter will do. And if that means losing advertising dollars, we lose it. But freedom of speech is paramount."

    The concept of marketing isn’t a bad thing in general but the way corporations use marketing to manipulate and dumb down the public is of great concern. Elon is single-handedly changing how the world works by elevating individual voices so they are as powerful as any corporation or pundit. It remains to be seen whether Yaccarino is a good fit as Twitter CEO. Elon hired someone who will bring him advertisers but will she also re-create the elite kids club who determine whether what you say was acceptable or not?

  • @Jessie-ev2th
    @Jessie-ev2th Год назад +12

    It is beyond me why anyone is concerned about Elon (or everyone else for that matters) tweets and when he tweets. And why advertisers are scared to advertise on Twitter. Unless it is political coercion from government?

    • @paulrybarczyk5013
      @paulrybarczyk5013 Год назад

      It's the latter. It's a political alliance between career politicians and their social/news media allies. Together, they control the default narratives of society by controlling the default media that most people consume. Elon is jeopardizing their agenda and getting in their way. So they push these fake narratives about "hate speech" and "concern about his tweets". At this point, muzzling Elon is their primary goal.

And now thinking back on it I’m even more perplexed as to why any kind of authoritarian organisation who claims to have the best interests of humanity at heart would ever attempt to interfere in the natural process of development that comes from being allowed to think freely. Works so hard he turns a $44 billion company into a sun-$20 billion company. The fact that he bounces around between businesses isn't "hard working" it's idiotic. Why. Do. People. Worship. This. BLOWHARD!?

      @@Trendyflute No. Elon paid 44billion for a 20million company. That was a mistake.

    When all is said and done, I think the only thing Elon proved about Twitter is that you can run it with 20% of the people. As far as the creativity and genius ideas, hot air mostly.

    38:00 When the army of bots is created on Twitter, a human can recognize those are bots. What will happen when the name of their creator is known publicly? Is this THAT search for truth? Hence can I trust any of your statements?

    It's funny rewatching this now that she is X CEO. You can kind of tell she was trying to be memorable and interesting with Elon (more than what would be necessary as an interviewer)....guess it worked

    She has the Twitter CEO title but Elon overrides anyone at his companies when he wants to. "I am the Law."
    She is there to boost advertisement revenue. She better have a good severance package because it will be vital in the end.
